Carstensz Adventure Team shortened as The CAD-T,is a unit at Dingo Planet Tours & Travel, a reputable travel agent based in Manado, North Sulawesi of Indonesia.
The unit is in charge of organizing Carstensz climbing expeditions and other adventure trips covering Papua, Sulawesi and beyond.
The team is led by Rudy Ruus who has remarkable experience in organizing many successful Carstensz Pyramid Expedition when working at one of the operators in Indonesia. Thanks to Rudy's works followed by other agents, a new trekking route to the basecamp via Sugapa District is now available.
In fact,there has been many successful Carstensz climbing expeditions using through this route by the operators in Indonesia.
With a great knowledge of the area and having a leader and summit guide who has remarkable experiences of succeeding many Carstensz Pyramid climbing expeditions either by trekking or helicopter combined with a good relationship with the local and central authorities plus a strong bond with the local people, The CAD-T is confident and determined to conduct every expedition in their conduct a success.
Success is teamwork and honesty
Many unsuccessful Carstensz Summit expeditions and in fact a few climbers have repeatedly come to Indonesia only to face a failure everytime. Why ? It can be caused by many things but above all, the lack of cooperation and understanding between the expedition organizer and the climbers/guests or simply the organizer was not transparent with whatever situtation the expedition might have got into, is usually the main reason to the failures. Therefore The CAD-T is determined to conduct every expedition based on a good teamwork and honesty.
